The film is beautifully done. It focuses on Michael Brecker’s last tour before he died and what we can do through bone marrow testing to save more lives.

when i lost my dad to cancer to decided to grow my infant sons hair out and donate it to charity .our act of charity turned into a nightmare because when he was 4 he was expelled from school.at that time we were working on a bone marrow drive for 11 year old shannon tavarez from the lion king who was diagnosed with leukemia.so much focus was put on jacks hair the drive we were working on never took place and shannon died because a donor match was not found in time.i have been doing bone marrow drives and volunteering with dkms for almost a year.i just recently teamed up with sharon turnage whose son luis danvers has leukemia at 6 years old with no match.we have been working hard together as a team to bring education awareness and commitment to the forefront.sharon and i would be honored to do bone marrow drives at your screenings.
